160 MBBS admissions done out of 170 state quota | Tech US News

There are total 200 seats for MBBS course in government medical college and hospital out of which 170 are government quota. The first enrollment round ended on Friday, in which 160 places will be filled. Of the remaining 30 seats in the quat center, 4 admissions have been confirmed, said Deputy Dean Dr. Mirza Shiraz Baig.

The CET cell of GMCH carries out the admission process under the leadership of the dean Dr. Varsha Rote. Sunita Suryawanshi handles PG admissions and Sachin Ahire handles UG admissions. The last date for the first round of MBBS admissions from the state quota in the advertised colleges was November 4 at 5.30 pm. By Friday, 160 admissions had been made. Out of a total of 200 seats, admission to 164 seats was confirmed, said Dr. Baig.

88 admissions MD, MS

Out of the total 195 seats for post graduate courses in MD and MS, 98 seats are in the center out of which 42 admissions have been confirmed in the first and second rounds. The second round for the 97 total state quota seats will continue till November 6. By Friday evening, a total of 46 admissions had been made from this quota, said Dr. Baig.
