“A pretty good amount,” Davis shared how much pain he felt through Lakers Nation. “It comes and goes on the return, those little shocks that go. But at this point you’re playing on adrenaline, so I know I’ll probably feel it more tonight, maybe even tomorrow. But it’s all manageable. I just try to do everything I can to be on the floor and help the team.
“Keep doing what I’m doing,” Davis added. “It was killing me tonight, but I tried to do everything I could to help the team win. So if that means we have to fight through it, we will fight through it. I have two days between games to prepare well for New Orleans on Wednesday, but I will do everything in my power to make sure we can do it.”
There was a moment late in the game when Davis was seen in pain, but he pushed through it to help his team to their first win of the season. Although the season has only just begun, it has been an important one for the Lakers break the losing streak.
