HAMILTON, Bermuda, November 4, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Today, the Bermuda The government has announced the elimination of the travel authorization (TA) process some (3) three weeks ahead of schedule, a move that will simplify the overall travel experience for visitors.

The requirement of an approved TA, the associate forty dollars fee, and proof of vaccination or medical insurance will no longer be a condition to travel from November 14, 2022. Instead, the Bermuda Tourism Authority (BTA) will reinstate the Bermuda Arrival Card, a visitor-only digital form that was in place before the pandemic began. The form collects visitor data, generating critical tourism statistics for the country and provides visitors, who choose to participate, with relevant and timely communications to improve their stay. The Bermuda Arrival Card is a simple online form that can be completed in minutes before traveling to the island.

Previously, the Government of Bermuda announced that legislation brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020, including the use of TA, would end the November 30, 2022.

Tourism Minister the Hon Vance Campbell said: “Our government has delivered on our commitment to protect the health and safety of our residents and visitors and now, with the earlier end date for the TA, we will travel to Bermuda it will be easier for our visitors.”

Currently, visitors from Bermuda they no longer require pre-travel or on-island COVID testing.

The online visitor arrival process can be completed in three simple steps.

There is no approval process, no fee, and once the required fields are completed, the form is available as a download link or via email.
