Banaras Hindu University (BHU) on Sunday announced that it will conduct random admissions for undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

Students who had earlier applied for BHU UG and PG admissions but did not fulfill the priority conditions will be given on-the-spot or deletion round admission based on merit and availability of seats, the university said.

“The Banaras Hindu University Admission Coordinating Committee accepted the application of the students and gave them another chance for admission. All such students who have not filled the desired seat earlier but have registered will be eligible for admission based on merit in collection or on the spot subject to availability of vacancies,” BHU tweeted.

For undergraduate courses, admissions at BHU will be held from November 15 to 16, and for postgraduate courses on November 22 and 23, the university said.

Candidates can confirm their admission on the same day by paying the registration fee, subject to eligibility and availability of places.
