Brand New Red Mahindra Scorpio-N SUV with Blackout Roof | Tech US News

[ad_1]

The Mahindra Scorpio-N is making its way to customers across India, and many owners of the SUV have already started modifying their vehicles. The Scorpio-N is offered in a red paint scheme but Mahindra does not offer the dual-tone roof paint scheme on the SUV. A Scorpio-N owner who bought a red colored Scorpio decided to take matters into his own hands, and blacked out the roof of his SUV. The owner has also applied a graphite coat to the car, bringing out the perfect red paint scheme. The result is quite spectacular. Take a look at the video here and see for yourself.

As the video indicates, the contrasting black roof really makes the red Scorpio-N look quite stunning, and Mahindra should start offering this option as a factory option. Many buyers will be interested in this shade. Additionally, adding a roof wrap to a car is completely legal and won’t get you in trouble with the cops because it doesn’t change the car’s base color. If you change the color of your car, remember that it needs to be endorsed in the Registration Certificate (RC) for insurance compliance, and also to make sure you don’t get harassed by the police.

Meanwhile, the automaker plans to ramp up production of the Scorpio-N in the coming months to reduce waiting times. So far, the waiting time for Scorpio-N has stretched to almost two years for certain variants. An increase in monthly production – from 6,000 to 10,000 units – will significantly reduce waiting times. It will take time though, as Mahindra will ramp up production only by mid-2023. As of now, bookings for the Scorpio-N stand are suspended, and Mahindra is yet to announce the date for fresh bookings.
