Booking is open now until November 30th.

Tickets are good for travel from now until December 31st.

In a statement, MASwings said it would also mount additional flights to accommodate increased demand expected for various routes within Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan.

The 21 weekly flights will be increased to 28 times per week for the routes between Miri-Labuan, Miri-Sibu, Kota Kinabalu-Lahad Datu and Kota Kinabalu-Labuan from November 18 to 21.

For Kuching-Limbang flights, MASwings’ current Monday, Thursday and Saturday operations will be increased to twice daily on 18 and 20 November.

“Being the pulse of Borneo, we are committed to providing safe and reliable air transport to support and accommodate the upcoming GE15 and urge local voters to travel back to their hometowns to fulfill their rights as Malaysian citizens,” said the director of MASwings Operations, Nasaruddin A. . Meanwhile, PKR has proposed a unique “democratic incentive” for first-time voters, aged between 18 and 21, to get out and cast their vote.

PKR communications director Lee Chean Chung said such an incentive would ensure higher voter turnout for these new voters as well as those studying in tertiary institutions, polytechnics, community colleges and industrial training institutes.

“This incentive will encourage them to return home to vote and reduce their transportation costs.

“I hope the current caretaker government can investigate this,” he told a press conference yesterday.
