WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAW) – We’re down to the last weekend before Thanksgiving and the second day of deer hunting season. It’s certainly felt like winter lately, but there’s hope for a break from this cold streak in north central Wisconsin. Clouds along with some sun on Sunday, some wind and still cold. Highs in the mid 20s.

The following weather maker appears to be less impressive than the previous weather model data they have been showing for Thanksgiving. The latest indications are that a cold front will be headed our way on Turkey Day and may bring scattered rain or snow showers. Nothing to stop you from getting to grandma’s house for your family reunion, but sometimes it can be a little humid. Ditto for those who might participate in a turkey trot. Thursday’s highs are in the low to mid 30s.

Milder conditions are in sight for next week.

Mostly cloudy Friday with highs in the mid-30s. Next weekend will have some sun on Saturday with highs in the upper 40s. More clouds than sun next Sunday, November 27th with highs in the 40s.
