Will Ferrell stitched up Holly Willoughby after revealing X-rated memorabilia he took from a previous film set.

On Tuesday’s This Morning the Elf, megastar and actress Octavia Spencer opened up about their latest Christmas movie, Spirited. The 40-year-old presenter asked the Hollywood stars if they stole anything from the set.

Speaking about his 2008 comedy Step Brothers, which features a rather dark scene where Will’s character Brennan rubs his testicles on half-brother Dale’s (John C Reilly) drum kit, the 55-year-old admitted he keeps the risqué prop somewhere ‘special ‘.

“I have some interesting memorabilia from some of my films, but the most precious is from Step Brothers – some testicles!,” he said.

‘The fashion that I put on a drum set and bring to dinner parties. I have a special box in which I keep them.’

The cheeky admission sent hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby into fits of laughter, with Holly hailing ‘so amazing’.

During Monday’s episode of The One Show, the Daddy’s Home actor revealed he was convinced his beloved 2003 Christmas film Elf would not be a hit.

“At the time, running around New York in my yellow tights, I was thinking, ‘This is going to be my last film,'” he laughed.

‘Little did we know we were making a film that would stand the test of time and people love it.’

And Will seems to be full of Christmas cheer of late, as his iconic character Buddy has been featured in Asda’s festive advert.

In the clip, he gets a quick tour, with one of his new colleagues first taking him to one of the most magical places – a bakery.

Clearly enamored with the powdered sugar that has been sprinkled over the mince pies, he exclaims that what is unfolding is “wonderful”, much to the delight of the bakers.

Just like in the movie, he stays up and decorates the whole town, and the next morning his efforts are rewarded when he is told he got the job.

Elf fans couldn’t contain their excitement to see Will reprise his beloved role, with one commenting on the advert: ‘How did they do that?! It’s amazing! I couldn’t stop laughing. The smile is my favourite!’, referring of course to Buddy’s word from the movie about smiling.

‘What an ad! 👏🏼 I just love my leprechaun friend, I wouldn’t mind meeting him in my local Asda!’ added another.

This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV.
