Oppo’s next generation flagship smartphone expected to pack some pretty powerful cameras, one with a 1-inch sensor. Oppo does not sell its phones in the United States, but it has a presence in many markets, including India and Europe. At the top of its product range is the Find line, its successors are the Find X5 and Find X5 Pro.

Search also includes Find N, its first mobile phone, which received many positive reviews when it was launched almost a year ago. Several reports have reported that Oppo is preparing a second model for release this year. In addition to the Find N2 (household name), there will also be a foldable clamshell in the style of the Galaxy Z Flip 4. Oppo has not yet announced the release date for this phone, but when it is released them, it will be. Glad to see they got a wider release compared to Find N.

Development seems to have already been done for the completion of the Find X5 series, which has been announced as the Find X6. Although the phone is not expected to be announced until 2023, a leaker has published the specifications of the Find X6 Pro, and it has been revealed that it will sport a large camera. The Find X5 Pro currently sits at 18th place on DXOMark’s smartphone camera rankings, so it’s no surprise that Oppo is tweaking the camera setup for its successor. The specifics, which were posted on Twitter by Yogesh Brar (@heyitsyogesh), reveals the Find X6 Pro will have a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultrawide camera, and a 50MP “zoom” camera.

It will pay off faster, too

The setup is similar to the Find X5 Pro, which has a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultrawide camera, and a 13MP telephoto camera. However, apart from the improved camera focus, the 50MP sensor on the Find X6 Pro is completely different. It turns out that the main camera has a 1-inch sensor, just like the Xiaomi 12S Ultra. According to sources, this sensor is Sony IMX989, the same one Xiaomi put in its phone. The sensor performs very well on the Xiaomi 12S Ultra, so a similar or even better performance is expected from Oppo. Just as Xiaomi has a partnership with Leica, Oppo also has an agreement with Hasselblad, and the Find X6 Pro has been announced to carry the German camera brand. There’s also a second-generation dedicated graphics chip, too, according to the source.

Other specifications are impressive. The display is a 6.7-inch E6 LTPO panel, but its refresh rate is not specified. Powering the phone will be Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset which is expected to be announced at the Snapdragon Summit later this month. Buyers can choose between 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB of storage. Oppo Find X6 Pro will also have a 32MP front camera. And while the 5000mAh battery has the same capacity as the Find X5 Pro, it will charge faster at 100W instead of 80W. It will also have support for 50W fast wireless charging. Finally, Oppo will deliver the product smartphone with its ColorOS skin on top of Android 13.
