On October 11, 2022, Let’s Get Uncomfortable, a volunteer-led organization dedicated to addressing difficult issues in Canada’s travel industry, will host Burnout: Confronting the Tourism Sector’s Mental Health Crisis.

This three-part series of virtual events facilitated by LGU’s Shalene Dudley e Maria Inés will explore the challenges faced by tourism professionals juggling the survival of their careers and the quality of their mental health and how industry leaders can help.

With events taking place in the fall of 2022, the ‘Burnout’ mental health series will feature conversations with mental health professionals, emotional safety advocates in the workplace and tourism professionals, examining what it takes to sustain your business , career and well-being. afloat in this constantly evolving industry.
