New Delhi: The Mahindra Group has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to help economically empower women in India.

In a statement released on Tuesday, the Mumbai-based diversified group said the two-year Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is aimed at achieving its Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) commitment to impact 1 million women annually from 2026. is an important step.

The partnership will work in the area of ​​gender equality, focusing on programs aimed at economic empowerment of women targeting marginalized women.

In this framework both the organizations will collaborate on joint programs and with key stakeholders like government, institutions, NGOs, corporates etc.
