In a separate development, the company has started deliveries of the Mahindra Scorpio-N SUV in the Indian car market. The Scorpio-N from Mahindra has received a very strong response with over one lakh bookings in just 30 minutes on July 30, the day the reservation window opened. But while the response has been stronger than demand for the Thar and XUV700, delivery timelines are now something that will be closely monitored.
Mahindra had already announced that it will start deliveries of the Scorpio-N around the festive season and is looking to complete the first round of order books by the end of December.
