Mahindra & Mahindra is improving its monthly sales performance with its onslaught of new generation SUVs taking the Indian market by storm. While this can also be attributed to the opening of the market after a long pandemic lockdown and increased buying sentiment among Indian car consumers, Mahindra’s strong work with its new SUVs is largely credited for its improved sales. To be given.

The latest in its product portfolio – the Scorpio N, was launched just a few weeks ago, and the company has not pulled the plug on the last generation Scorpio and in fact continues to retail it as the Scorpio Classic. While SUVs continue to drive demand for India’s leading carmaker, Mahindra had earlier recorded an increase of over 120% in CV sales for September 2022. In terms of model-specific sales, the company sold a combined retail of 15,000 units of Scorpio and XUV700. While the Scorpio had 9,536 units, the new XUV700 found 6,063 buyers in India in September 2022. The major reason for the increase in Scorpio sales is the introduction of the new-gen model in the country. Additionally, the company managed to retail a total of 8,108 units of Bolero in September 2022, which is considered by the company to be the best selling utility vehicle in India.

Meanwhile, the company has also recently introduced the new XUV400 electric SUV in the market. It is slated to go on sale only until 2023. In similar news, the company has also started road tests of the upcoming XUV700 electric SUV. A prototype of the same model was caught behind the spy lens in Bangalore. Read more here.
