Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd. The passenger vehicle sales report for October 2022 is out. The company managed to sell 32,000 units of passenger vehicles in the domestic market this month, marking a growth of over 61 percent.

Mahindra has released its passenger vehicle sales report for the month of October 2022. The company managed to sell a total of 32,298 units of passenger vehicles last month. This figure includes only domestic passenger vehicle sales excluding exports. This indicates an increase in sales of 12,264 units which translates to a 61.21% increase in domestic sales year-on-year. The sales figures for passenger vehicles sold by Mahindra in October 2021 were 20,034 units.

The total number of passenger vehicles sold by Mahindra as of October 2022 is 2,01,021 units. This indicates an increase of 87,536 units in year-on-year domestic sales, which is a 77.13% increase in year-on-year domestic sales. The total year-to-date passenger vehicle sales figures sold by Mahindra in October 2021 were 1,13,485 units.

Commenting on the October 2022 sales report, Vijay Nakra, President, Automotive Division, M&M Limited said, “Our sales volume continued to grow in October due to strong demand for acceleration. We sold 32,226 SUVs in October. , which registered a growth of 61% driven by strong demand across our portfolio. Our commercial vehicles also registered strong growth this month.

Recently Mahindra launched the all new Scorpio-N, after which the demand for Mahindra increased. Scorpio-N received over 1 lakh bookings in less than 30 minutes. The waiting period is as long as two years on some variants of the Mahindra-Scorpio-N. With strong demand for SUVs like the Thar, XUV700, XUV400 and Scorpio-N, the company can sustain positive growth in the coming months by meeting the demand that it maintains a positive growth rate for the long term.
