Mahindra has even increased the prices of its XUV700 and Thar. 37,000 and 28,000 respectively. Notably, this is the third price hike for both the SUVs this year, the first two being introduced in January and April. Increase in demand for Mahindra SUVs and increase in input cost can be attributed to the increase.

The XUV700 price range has been increased. 22,000 from 35,000 for the petrol variant, while the price hike for the diesel variant 20,000 onwards 37,000

The variants with the highest and lowest price hikes were both the diesel-top spec AX7 AT AWD with the luxury 7-seater. 37,000 and AX3 MT with 5 sets 20,000

The Thar recently received a mild facelift with petrol and diesel engine options in two trims – AX (O) and LX. The top-spec LX AT hardtop petrol variant saw the biggest price hike 7,000 while all other types of petrol have become expensive now. 6,000 each.

Also, the prices of AX (O) and LX MT diesel variants with hard top and soft top have been increased. 28,000 LX AT diesel soft-top and hard-top variants have been increased in price. 26,000

Mahindra will announce the price of the recently unveiled XUV400 EV in January next year. Additionally, the updated XUV300 with a more powerful 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine is expected to debut before the upcoming festive season.
