The 2023 Auto Expo will be held from January 13 to 18 in Greater Noida near Delhi.
India’s largest automotive exhibition is back after a gap of three years. However, reports suggest that several major brands have decided to opt out this time.
Maruti Suzuki and Tata Motors are among the domestic brands that will showcase their products at the upcoming event. MG Motor, Toyota, Kia and BYD have also confirmed their participation.
However, brands like Mahindra, Honda, Isuzu, Citroen, Nissan, Volkswagen and Skoda have decided to opt out due to high costs and a general lack of new products. While Volvo and Lexus will be present, other premium brands such as Audi, BMW, Mini, Mercedes-Benz, Jaguar and Land Rover will skip next year’s event.
Reports also suggest that Hero MotorCorp, Bajaj and TVS will not showcase their 2-wheelers at the upcoming Auto Expo.
