“Therefore, as per the regulations, the result of the state counseling round under NEET UG-2022 will be declared on Wednesday. However, the results of the candidates from the attached list will be withheld and will not be announced on November 2 unless and until they submit a declaration as given in Annexure 1,” he added.

“The details of the candidates in the list are those whose names the university has learned have also applied for admission to MBBS or BDS courses for the academic session 2022 in other states other than the state of Punjab. Therefore, a last chance is given to explain their position on this issue and submit a statement by Wednesday by 5 pm via email to [email protected]. Otherwise, their candidature for the state quota seat in Punjab will not be entertained. Any statement submitted after the specified time will not be considered,” Ouseppachan said.

In the declaration form, candidates should submit that they have applied for state quota in Punjab only and inform the university if their name is wrong in the list.
