DU admissions 2022: According to reports, 59,401 students have secured admission in DU colleges. On 17th November 2022 (Thursday), the third round of online counseling for DU admission 2022 was concluded. Dean of DU Admission, Mrs. Haneet Gandhi reported that more than 2000 students have canceled their admission and the number of vacancies is more than 14000. Candidates, who are eligible can apply for the first round of allotment of seats from today i.e. 21st November 2022 to 22nd November 2022.

The available seats which are vacant and all those seats withdrawn by the students are to be filled in the on-site seat allotment process. Additional admission details are available on the official website of the university — du.ac.in. A large number of candidates have already completed the admission process in various colleges of Delhi University.

The university has also released the list of vacant seats for the first round of the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS), according to PTI. There are a total of 70,000 places in DU’s undergraduate programs. Students who wish to take admission in UG courses must visit the main portal of University of Delhi – du.ac.in and participate in the counseling process.

DU Spot round schedule

According to the dates available on the website, candidates can apply for spot admission from 21st to 22nd November 2022. DU Spot first round allotment list will be published on 23rd November 2022. Candidates who are willing to admit admission to UG programs at DU can be accepted between November 24 and November 26. They can pay the required registration fee no later than November 27.

It should be noted that the seats allotted in the on-site admission round will be considered as the final allotment step in the process. Moreover, there will not be any next round of on-site admission system.

From 2022, students are admitted to DU universities through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET), irrespective of the marks obtained in class 12.
