Odisha Higher Education Department has issued the guidelines and date for admission to PG vacancies under SAMS project for the academic session 2022-23 in state public universities and colleges.
As per the notification, candidates who have appeared for CPET 2022 will be eligible to participate in the vacant seat admission round only.
State Provisional Merit List published earlier for CPET 2022 will not be considered. Students who have passed CLC/ULC during Phase 1 (First, Second and Intermediate rounds) of PG admission for any reason will not be eligible for this round.
Candidates meet the conditions for the subject(s) in which they took the entrance examination (CPET). The subject criteria will remain intact as per Common Prospectus 2022. Previously entered options will not be considered for admission of PG vacant seats.
Timetable for admission of vacancies in PG
Opening of correction window, availability of online common application form in student application for update of grade and reservation of PG vacancy through SAMS: November 1 to November 3 (5:00 PM)
Announcement of candidate’s total score (CPET entrance score + career score): 4th November
Detailed advertisement to be released by higher education institutions regarding CAF submission deadline, applicant reporting, admission date: Between November 1st and 4th
All admission related activities (validation of CAF/selection/admission and collection of admission fees by higher education institutions: 5 November to 21 November 2022
Display of the selection list by individual HEIs, registration and updating of data in the e-space: 23 November to 25 November.
