OPPO A1 Pro launch report

Recently, OPPO A58 5G went on sale in China. Now, OPPO is preparing to introduce the OPPO A1 Pro 5G, the company’s most advanced A-series phone. The brand announced on Weibo that the A1 Pro will be unveiled on November 16 at 6pm (local time).

The OPPO A1 Pro’s front sports a curved display, as seen on the release date report. The handset has an oval camera on the back with two camera rings. There is a 108MP primary camera sensor in the top camera ring. An additional camera and LED flash are also located on the back panel.

Earlier this month, China’s law enforcement agencies, 3C and TENAA, approved the OPPO phone with the model number PHQ110. The same phone has also appeared in the Geekbench benchmarking website’s data. The PHQ110 model is actually the OPPO A1 Pro. The smartphone was initially called OPPO A98 in earlier reports.

OPPO confirmed some of the A1 Pro’s display features on Chinese microblogging site Weibo. These include 2160Hz high-frequency dimming, 2.32mm thin bottom bezel, and 56-degree display curvature.

OPPO A1 Pro specifications (rumored)

OPPO A1 Pro will sport a 6.7-inch full-HD + AMOLED panel with 10-bit color and a fingerprint sensor in the screen. The display that will be offered on the upcoming OPPO Reno9 seems to be the same.
OPPO A1 Pro will be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset. It is expected to be paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It will also have a microSD card slot for additional storage.

For selfies, the A1 Pro will sport a 16MP front camera. It seems to have a 108MP + 2MP dual-camera array on the rear panel. The device will be powered by a 5,000mAh battery unit that may support 67W fast charging.
