The Digital Forum has shed light on the first Oppo that can be made with a flip phone form factor. According to the leaker, the so-called Oppo Find Flip will have a large-megapixel camera, as well as a larger battery than its predecessor. Unfortunately, it remains to be seen if Oppo intends to release the foldable outside of China. Now, Find N is still a Chinese exclusive even after it was well received by Western watchers who got their hands on the device.
For example, Oppo’s first attempt at a flip phone features a 6.8-inch internal display, putting it squarely on the Galaxy Z Flip4, Moto Razr 2022 and P50 Pocket. However, Digital Forums still expect that Oppo will install a 3.26-inch display, 20% larger than the 2.7-inch one in the Moto Razr 2022. In addition, the 3.26-inch display will be more 200% larger than the P50 Pocket’s and 72% larger than the Galaxy Z Flip4’s. Unsurprisingly, both shown in Oppo’s foldable are thought to be OLED panels.
Moreover, the Digital Forum alleged that the Oppo Find Flip has a 4,300 mAh battery, which is between 300 mAh and 800 mAh more capacity than its competitors. Elsewhere, Digital Media says that the phone will rely on a 32 MP front camera, like the Sony IMX709, in addition to the Sony IMX766 as its primary camera, a 50 MP sensor used in many the middle phone and Find N. In addition, Find Flip is said to have IMX355 as its ultra-wide-angle camera, the popular 8 MP camera from Google Pixel smartphones.
