Leaker Digital Chat Station has released details about the Find X6 Pro, a prequel to the exclusive-looking Find X5 Pro. According to the leaker image, Oppo has decided to go in the direction of the big circular camera housing like the Xiaomi 12S Ultra. Apparently, there are a few things missing though, such as the LED flash array.
However, the image shows two large lenses with a third below it, as if for a periscope telephoto camera. Undoubtedly, Oppo will return to MariSilicon ISP as well, which it develops in-house. Similarly, we think that Oppo will continue to include Hasselblad camera tunings in its flagship smartphones, like OnePlus did with the OnePlus 10 Pro. As far as we can tell, the Find X6 Pro has a curved back as well, presumably dovetailed by the curved shape of the device’s exterior.
Also, Digital Forums confirmed that Find X6 Pro will use Sony IMX989 and Sony IMX890. For reference, Xiaomi has already used it in the past in the 12S Ultra and is expected to include the same sensor in its performance, with the Xiaomi 13 Pro. Meanwhile, the IMX890 is an unannounced sensor. Reputedly, the sensor will not be as big as the IMX766 found in the Find X5 Pro, which has a 1/1.56-inch optical format. In other words, expect the IMX890 to be a sidekick to the IMX989, possibly an ultra-wide-angle camera.
