OPPO Smart Life Sweeping Robot N3 has been launched in China. Also known as the Lefant N3, the robot vacuum has up to 4,000 Pa suction power across four levels, as well as anti-tangle brushes. The gadget has a 28 cm (~11.0-in) mopping area with three water levels and provides sonic vibration mopping. The company claims that the mop vibrates 12,000 times per minute. The device has a 450 ml dust tank, a 160 ml water tank and a dry disinfectant.
The N3 uses dToF lidar navigation with a 10 m (~32.8 ft) scanning radius, capable of mapping up to 900 m² (~9,688 ft²). The SLAM algorithm is used to intelligently plan the path with the device to avoid the laser problem. There are more than 31 sensors on the gadget, with more than 20 algorithms that help make smart decisions when cleaning. For example, ultrasonic sensors can detect the carpet and move the mop accordingly.
You can control the robot vacuum via smartphone or voice command. The robot has a 5,200 mAh battery that allows it to clean up to 280 m² (~ 3,014 ft²) on one charge. In addition, the gadget can work quietly with a noise level as low as 60 dB. You can now buy the OPPO Smart Life Sweeping Robot N3 in China for 1,999 yuan (~US$276).

I’ve been interested in technology for as long as I can remember. From a young age, I loved gadgets and understanding how things work. Since graduating, I have worked for various technology companies across FinTech, AdTech and Robotics.
