(Pocket-lint) – Unique phones tied into pop culture are nothing new, but there’s something about a phone with dragons on it that sparks interest.
That’s the case here, with Oppo announcing the House of the Dragon Limited Edition Set that includes the updated Reno 8 Pro as well as some legendary accessories. The kind of equipment that only true Dragon fans will appreciate, of course.
These accessories are versatile, including a gold dragon phone holder, a SIM ejector tool that looks like a dragon, and a special Targaryen sigil keychain because why not. But wait, there’s more.
Oppo is also throwing in a special scroll that contains a message from one of the characters of the show, while the gold dragon egg changes things out.
As for the phone itself, there is a cover that looks like scaly dragon skin and there is a three-headed dragon sigil on the back, too.
The phone, on the inside at least, is identical to the one we already reviewed. The old phone already looks very good, although we noted that it is the most special. Hopefully the new dragon skin will solve that problem.
It is all very beautiful, but there is a catch – it is only sold in India. There is currently no word on pricing or an availability window, however. Oppo’s website lists the product, at least.
