ARLINGTON, Texas (KLTV) – Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington is honoring everyone who has served in the U.S. Armed Forces with free park admission, meals, drinks and more during Veterans Weekend.

“This weekend we honor all of America’s veterans and thank those who have served their country honorably in war or peacetime,” said Six Flags Over Texas Park President Richard Douaihy. Anyone eligible for these freebies will be required to present a valid military ID at designated free parking toll booths and at the entrance to receive free admission and other benefits.

In addition to these freebies, veterans can also get 15% off all park retail items. Family members of veterans, active and retired military personnel will be eligible for $20 park admission (online only, limit 4) and a discounted beverage.

Activities during Veterans Weekend at the park include an Air Force flyover at 4 p.m. on Nov. 12 and 11 a.m. on Nov. 13, fireworks at the park’s closing on Nov. 12, Looney Tunes characters in patriotic attire, displays by recruiting and veterans associations, and a performance of the national anthem to the opening of the park on Sunday.

Veterans Weekend at Six Flags Over Texas will be held on November 12th from 4-10pm and November 13th from 11am-5pm.
