Santa Rosa-based Wine Routes, a travel planning platform aimed at helping customers find and set up Wine Country itineraries, has partnered with Grabbi, a wine and food technology company based in San Francisco.

“Our intent from day one has been to help consumers find new wineries and wines, allowing the everyday traveler to discover wineries across the United States, explore what makes them unique, and share their experiences within our online community,” said Ian Scales, boss. responsible for the operation of Rutas do ViƱo, in the announcement.

The deal is set to allow winery users of Vancouver, Canada-based Commerce7’s customer resource management system to sync their products with Wine Routes and Grabbi. That would allow a winery visitor with that interconnected software to open Grabbi’s dynamic wine menus on a mobile phone, select a product by the glass or bottle, order and pay.

Chuck LoCascio, director of marketing for Grabbi, said the service is designed to provide a quick way to select a specific wine and pay for it using the latest technology. Grabbi makes transaction management and analytics software for food trucks, restaurants and wineries.

“We can create unique experiences for winery guests based on their preferences and increase the speed, value and reach of wineries,” said LoCascio.
