INDIANAPOLIS – All veterans, active military personnel and anyone in their vehicle will be able to enter DNR state parks, reservoirs, state forest recreation areas and off-road state recreation areas for free on Veterans Day, Friday, Nov. 11.

This includes admission to the Falls of the State Park’s Ohio Interpretive Center.

“We appreciate the sacrifices and service of our veterans and active duty military and look forward to giving them a day to explore some of our state’s best outdoors,” said Terry Coleman, director of Indiana State Parks.

Veterans and military personnel should simply inform the concierge at the property they are visiting that they are a veteran or that they are serving and on active duty.
