The enrollment process in schools begins after the completion of the annual exams: DSEK | Tech US News

Srinagar, November 19: The Kashmir School Education Department on Saturday announced that the admission process in all schools in the valley will start only after the completion of the annual examinations.

Talking to reporters on the sidelines of the event here, Director of School Education Kashmir Tasaduq Hussain Mir said that there will be no new admissions for now as the annual exams have not been conducted, so far, according to news agency – Kashmir News Observer (KNO).

He said there are guidelines from the administration that the new admission process starts only after the exams are over.

He further said that as far as entry fee is concerned, only such fee as fixed by the fee fixing committee shall be charged.

About the winter camp, he said that parents are only liable to pay school fees for their wards and should not pay any other fee, be it transport fee.

Mir also said that the government has started providing heating arrangements gradually from November 15—(KNO)
