OUISVILLE, Ky.—Bellarmine University announced today that the men’s basketball game scheduled for Monday, Nov. 14 at 6 p.m. against Campbellsville-Harrodsburg University will be played in Knights Hall on campus and will have free admission for students, faculty and Bellarmine staff as well as current season ticket holders. (Tickets will not be sold to the general public.)

In putting together the 2022-23 schedule, the Bellarmine men’s program wanted to host a non-conference game before hitting the road in a busy stretch of its schedule that includes games at Clemson, Duke, Loyola Marymount, UCLA and Kentucky.

However, Freedom Hall is unavailable during this time frame due to the North American International Livestock Show. Therefore, Bellarmine decided to host the game in Knights Hall and limit the audience to only Bellarmine students, faculty and staff (and their immediate families) and current season ticket holders.

“My goal (for hosting the Knights Hall game) was to thank each and every one of you for an eternal night last March 8th at Freedom Hall in the ASUN Conference Championship,” the Bellarmine Coach said Scott Davenport. “On Monday, November 14 at 6 p.m., we want to express our gratitude and we also want to inspire you to come to Freedom Hall on December 4 at 4 p.m. to recapture that same atmosphere as we move forward through the rest of our home schedule .”

Members of the Bellarmine community need only present their valid Bellarmine ID at the door to gain access to the game. Season ticket holders who are not Bellarmine employees will need to pick up their complimentary tickets the day before the game (Sunday, November 13) from 12-3pm in the Knights Hall lobby.

All tickets will be regular tickets without reserved seats. For more information, contact Beth Bowers at 502-272-7460.
