Travel 37 countries in 155 nights on this world cruise | Tech US News

Could it be possible for a cruise ship to call in thirty-seven countries? That’s the one-of-a-kind trip that Azamara Cruise Line is offering to avid travelers starting in 2025.

For those looking to circumnavigate the world without booking multiple hotels and flights, the cruise will start in San Diego and finish across the pond in the UK 155 days later.

what to expect

Azamara President Carol Cabezas shared with Travel + Leisure some insights into why cruises like this one continue to break ground.

“As 60% of the ports on this sailing are different from those on our 2024 world voyage, this itinerary has been carefully selected to offer even the most well-traveled guests a new perspective on the world,” says Cabezas.

“Our 2025 world cruise invites travelers not only to see the world, but also to take their time in each destination and create memories that will last long after the voyage is over.”

Azamara will not only offer 46 overnight stops for passengers to feel more than a cultural experience to understand the special nuances of each destination, but also include 13 different free land events, such as visiting the world’s largest Buddhist temple in Semarang, Indonesia and the bon voyage official gala in San Diego.

Travelers boarding Azamara Cruise Line receive an additional incentive with a $4,000 onboard credit and $3,000 to spend on shore excursions, round-trip business class airfare, a premium beverage package for two, and weekly laundry service.

The 2025 cruise will be available to book here on November 10, after the company’s 2024 version unsurprisingly sold out.

Those planning to travel should know that Azamara plans to eliminate vaccine requirements for all cruises that begin and end in the United States on December 1 and for all cruises that begin and end in Europe on March 11, 2023. According to the company , all other crossings will still require a proof of vaccination and a booster shot.

This will be the second world cruise that the company will run after successfully sailing to 40 countries on six continents on the Azamara Onward, in May 2022.
