We all know that underage driving is illegal and yet we see people indulging in such activities. There have been several incidents in the past where minors have been seen driving cars and bikes. They are a common sight on our roads and sometimes these vehicles even get involved in accidents. In some cases, parents want to teach their children how to drive even though they are minors. They often record videos of their child driving and post them on various social media platforms. Here we have one such video which has gone viral on the internet. Here a minor is seen driving a Mahindra Scorpio and trying to burn with the SUV.

This video has been uploaded by Vicky Badshah on his YouTube channel. This is actually a 4 year old video that is now circulating on the internet. In this video, a child can be seen sitting on the driver’s seat of a previous generation Mahindra Scorpio. He is definitely underage and trying to do a stunt with an SUV. Mahindra Scorpio is a rear wheel drive SUV. Taking advantage of this, he is trying to burn out with the SUV. He engages the gear and presses the brake, releasing the clutch and accelerating.

Pulling the handbrake won’t do the trick in this case as it will only lock the rear wheels where all the power is going. It’s a tricky stunt but it looks like the kid has been practicing the same for a while. He manages to lock up the brakes and accelerate and the rear wheels start spinning.

Kid tries to burnout while driving Mahindra Scorpio: Video goes viral

He is unable to perform long stunts as he keeps losing grip on the brake pedal. The only good thing we saw in this video is that the kid isn’t doing it on a public street. It looks like a private property with no other vehicles or people around.

After trying to ignite, the kid drives the Scorpio forward and then quite aggressively drives the car into reverse. Throughout the video, he is trying to pull off the stunt neatly but, he is not quite succeeding. Although this is done in a closed environment, there are many things that can go wrong. The driver is still a child and can easily lose control of the vehicle and may even hit some trees in the field. Another video went viral recently in which an Indian kid was seen driving an MG Gloster SUV while his father was sitting next to him recording the video.

Mahindra has also recently launched the Scorpio Classic and the new Scorpio N. Both the SUVs are getting good response from the buyers in the market. While the Scorpio Classic is only available with the 2.2 liter mHawk diesel engine with a manual gearbox, the Scorpio N is offered with two engine options. The Scorpio N gets a 2.0 liter mStallion turbo petrol and a 2.2 liter mHawk turbo diesel engine. Both petrol and diesel engine options are available with manual and automatic transmission options. The diesel engine option also gets a proper 4×4 option.
